Scrimpy's Mod Thread

    I honestly don't make these threads often, mainly because I forget to update them, but I thought I'd give it another shot :P
    So yeah, this is where I'll show some WIP screenshots and some screenshots of finished mods.

    Belgian Mod Pack (and Extra's)
    I've been modding some Belgian vehicles into GTA IV lately, mainly because the very few Belgian car mods that are out there, aren't really accurate.
    So here are a few screenshots of the cars I have made, and are almost ready for release (I think)

    And that is a small part of all screenshots I have of those vehicles :) I'll post new vehicles once I made them, and if you want to see more pictures of any car I made, just ask and I'll post some :)

    By all means, you're welcome to submit. Even if there are faults, at least we'll be pointing them out and give you guidance regarding them. From the pictures I've seen though, they look pretty decent to me.

    You can always release whatever you want here in the forums. It's the best place for feedback, and it's much easier to give advice if you actually have a mod to look at. Judging from the screens only, as Kevin said, it does look pretty good :)

    We're still working on setting up the filebase, but as soon as we're done, you can also submit it there and we'll see if it actually meets our requirements. ^^

    Edit: There's one thing I've noticed: Your chrome parts look a bit dull. It's best to use a dark grey diffuse map with a white spec map.

    I also attached the WPR Volvo XC70 to this post, so people can download it and give it a try :D

    Well, it's not really a vehicle, but it's a vehicle part :) I've been practicing some 3D Modeling lately as well, and I think I'm getting fairly decent at making simple things like this SoundOff Signal Mighty Night Light (I think the name is bigger than the light), and I'd love to get some opinions on it

    For a starter its not too bad, but consider that with smaller components you might want to skip adding too much detail since you're not really going to notice it ingame. Usually good textures do the trick for lower poly models. As a guideline, see if you can make that model to be below say 200 polys.

    Once again, I fixed some small things on the Volvo XC70 (mainly reducing and adjusting materials), so the WPR Volvo is able to be released fully soon!
