1986 California Projects.

I will be posting an update to the 1986 CRASH Caprice soon. Made some additional adjustments to some trim pieces, textures, and revised some of the interior equipment. Hope to have it posted by this weekend!

Thanks i had someone else point out the collisions. I had already fixed them but i think what happened is I continued working on an old version and the fixed one got left behind. Though surprisingly i haven’t had any other major issues aside from the floating wheels. I have the wheel mesh set so it protrudes outside of the wheel collision slightly, but it made no difference. I think i may try reimporting the wheel collisions from a vanilla car and see if that solves my issue as well as…

Try the following: - Some parts of the maps collision are not the best, does it float in other places too? - Center to world the main node with the spawn name on (Most likely the fix) try resizing the wheel collisions only so the mesh sits outside of them more. IE select all 4 wheel collisions and size them down slightly. Make sure you turn off the pivot or it'll move the collision inward. to where the tire hangs out of it slightly on [wheel_lf]

I'm having an issue with a specific vehicle, no matter what I do to the wheel collisions etc., they always float above the ground. I'm wondering if anyone knows what may be affecting this? This is my only affected vehicle by this. Here's some photos in game as well as my collision setups. FYI I noticed the wheel collisions in my photos were different sizes and not aligned, which I fixed but it had no affect on the wheels floating.

There's this: https://themaybeast.gitbook.io/dlsv2. The modes and conditions sections should cover everything, for the DLS.ini and the control groups I recommend looking at some existing configs, as these are usually self-explanatory.

Is there also a guide for the different DLS options? I don't think I have any documentation on customizing the xml files.

Oh I see, I couldn't get the backwards stage control to work so I wouldn't have known. I'll see if I can put those fixes in and hopefully it will work.

I did some testing on my cars earlier and noticed their lights also sometimes stayed active after the car exploded, but only in some rare cases, so I'm not quite sure what triggers that and if there's any way to fix that. So unless you're willing to investigate further, I guess it's better to ignore that 😄 I indeed meant to write from stage 2 to stage 1, instead of stage 3, that's why I also recommended to set syncToBpm to true for stage 1. It technically isn't a DLS bug, but vanilla game…

Light pattern setup is meant to be Stage 1: flashing rear ambers Stage 2: flashing rear ambers and red steady Stage 3: ambers, steady red, and rotary lights
