Always been confused about adding these lights... are these considered "headlights" or "indicators"?

I'm curious on how to add these lights... or more specifically how to make them light up. I have red ones I need to add on the rear bumper to be lit up while the engine is running. And I have amber (yellow) ones I need to add on the front top of the cab for the same reason.

I know how to add flashing lights as it's essentially cutting and pasting with ELS lights. But these lights are a little different. They aren't necessarily ELS. They need to stay on all the time while the engine is running.

Any suggestions?

You just need to assign these lights to the vehicle_lightsemissive shader without any light type ID set. They will automatically turn on whenever the engine is on.

Those are called marker lights. They come on when the engine is started.
