Ambient Occlusion Bug

  • I'm working on my first vehicle that I made in Blender, and I've encountered this issue after I painted the vertices. I've tried repainting the vertices on the black material back to white, both in Blender and Zmod. Each time it's still the same, no changes. It changes back to black depending on the angle of the camera. When the camera moves away from certain angles, it changes to a bright, tan-ish color. The material is shared across the car. The wheel arches are the same material as the door, but it does not have this issue. Is this a geometry issue?


    I fixed it! I unified the normals within a certain distance, and it fixed the artifact!


    It's back to being bugged again. I don't know what to do now. The unify normals tool isn't working
